Tom Wood

Tom Wood, a best-selling fantasy poster artist, lives with his wife and daughter in the Ozark Mountains of Arkansas. From his cattle ranch in Mammoth Spring, Tom Wood owns and operates Meridian Design Works and Tom Wood Fantasy Art.

As unlikely as it might seem, this fourth generation cattle farmer creates some of today's most stunning fantasy artwork. At the age of six, he announced to his family that he would be “drawing for a living”. That goal lead him to leave the farm and work for some of the most prestigious art departments in Tennessee, New Hampshire, Florida, and Connecticut.

Tom's career as an illustrator and designer flourished through the 1990's, but in 2000, when Tom and his wife Kim decided to start a family, he wanted his daughter, Emily, to be raised in the life he had known as a child. So after nine years of travelling he purchased the farm next-door to his parents and built his home and studio there. Today Tom and his family live happily raising cattle and showing their classic Mustangs.
