Christine Haworth
Christine Haworth is a British illustrator. Her internationally renowned work includes the series Paintbox Poppets, Faerie Poppets, Angel Whispers, Dream Tide and Meadow Cottage Bears, Crisalis Classics. Her paintings have been licensed into craft products, books, figurines and other giftware. Her work into many forms can be found worldwide.
Christine continues to paint on a daily basis concentrating particularly on the series of Faerie Poppets and Angel Whispers paintings.
Other series of works followed the most notable being, 1993 – 2000 Paintbox Poppets. Over 100 images were painted by Christine capturing the innocence and nostalgia of childhood in imaginative detail.
In 2003 Christine was commissioned to design the costumes for the Royal Ballet’s production Cinderella by Sir Fredric Ashton to be staged at the Royal Opera House Convent Garden, London.
